Join United Campus Ministry for a time of chocolate, laughs and an hour of fun to begin the new semester! What will be there? 6:00 Worship Revisted Sermon series-- “Mythbusters: Christian or Cliché?”We invite you to examine our religious rhetoric. Do the words we say in times of difficulty help or hurt? Are they based in scripture? We will look at sayings like “Everything happens for a reason,” and “God never gives us more than we can handle,” in the light of scripture and faith tradition. All are welcome!

Thursday, Feb. 2 7:00-8:00 Bible Study, Jimenez Hall (room: 1123). We are beginning our new study: “Where is God Calling You?: Explore, Discover, Question?”
We will be sharing biblical and modern day stories of call and how they relate to our lives. This week our guest leader will be seminarian Katie Wheat who will share about her call to serve as a US2 missionary through the United Methodist Church. We will also be sharing info about a variety of post graduate service opportunities for young adults.
